PlanMyTax ("we", "us", "our") is a free online tax estimation and planning tool for individuals in India and the United States. It is operated at planmytax.org.
PlanMyTax is not a tax filing service and does not constitute professional tax advice. The results are estimates based on the information you provide and published tax rules. For official tax filing, consult a Chartered Accountant (India) or a Certified Public Accountant (US).
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using PlanMyTax, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at hello@planmytax.org.
You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, all your stored tax data will be permanently removed.

PlanMyTax makes every effort to implement tax rules accurately, sourced from official government publications (CBDT notifications, IRS Revenue Procedures, Finance Acts). However, tax rules are complex and change frequently. We do not guarantee that every calculation is error-free or up-to-date for every edge case.
You should not file your taxes based solely on PlanMyTax results. Use it as a planning guide, and verify your final numbers with an official source or a tax professional before filing.
The PlanMyTax platform, including its code, design, and content, is owned by PlanMyTax. Tax rules themselves (bracket rates, thresholds, etc.) are public information sourced from government publications and are not our intellectual property.
PlanMyTax is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular tax calculation is correct for your specific situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlanMyTax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including, without limitation, tax penalties, interest, or filing errors.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of PlanMyTax after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
